If you work off the campus network and receive a direct link to an online resource (without remote access), you will most likely get an error message stating access denied.
The cause of the problem is that a direct link to e.g. an article will check if you are logged in. If you are on the campus network, you are logged in automatically. You are not, if you are e.g. working from home.
In some cases you can use the link converter below, to convert your link to remote access. However, it does not work in all cases as the library does not have all the different publishers' addresses to individual articles on hand.
