Aalborg University and University Library subscribe to a number of software- and web-based solutions for the benefint of students and staff. On this page we have compiled some of the most relevant solutions in connection with information searching and reference management.

Keep yourself up to date on your research field with JournalTOCs. Get the latest headlines from more than 25,000 journals via RSS-feed.
Managing references and documents
RefWorks helps you gather and manage your references, list sources and compile bibliographies. Also, the programme lets you share your references with others via RefShare, or set up joint accounts.
Mendeley enables you to work online with your documents, to generate bibliographies, collaborate with others etc. Aalborg University Library provides free upgrade to Mendeley Institutional Edition.
Aalborg University has an agreement regarding use of Office 365, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote etc. on mobiles and tablet. You also get 1 TB storage space with OneDrive for files.
Collecting and analysing data
SurveyXact allows you to create advanced surveys and utilize advanced analysis. Students and staff at AAU has direct access to the programme via the university's subscription.
Data analysis: Nvivo
NVIVO helps you mangage and analyze complex data sets in large surveys. The programme is particularly well suited for projects with extensive amounts of text data.
Apart from the software and web solutions mentioned on this page, AAU offers access to a number of other programmes as well - e.g. MathLab, SAS, SPSS, STATA and more.
Adobe Connect is an advanced tool for online meetings and collaboration. All AAU staff and students have direct access to the programme via the university's subsbription.
