We support cooperation between the university and the local business community
Aalborg University is actively collaborating with the world outside academia. There is extensive collaboration between e.g. businesses and researchers/students, network meetings for companies, and renting out of laboratories and equipment.
The University Library supports these activities with professional sparring and support from our information specialists. The library can assist in qualifying the collaborative efforts with access to the latest research, market research, financial ratios, statistics, standards, and patents.
We offer one-on-one library sessions with one of our information specialists to all users affiliated with Aalborg University. During the course of a session, your company or business partner will be introduced to available information and how to search through it. We also assist with retrieval of specific documents.
Options for businesses or organisations
All companies can register for a company library card and gain access to the physical collections.
If you or your company is collaborating with AAU, the library offers assistance in information searching - i.e. access to information resources, where to find them, and how to search.
Options for students
Have you or your project group established partnership with a company? If so, you may want to know more about the market, the company - or its competitors.
The library can offer instruction and assistance, if you book a library session with one of our information specialists. During the session, you will get an overview of your opportunities, and we are happy to assist you with search and retrieval of information.
Options for researchers and staff
Researchers and other members of staff, who are involved in collaboration with the business community, are free to book a library session with one of our information specialists. For example, you may need to get an overview of research within a particular scientific field, or you may need a list of the top 50 selling textile merchants in Europe.
