Digital object identifier (DOI) is a permanent "digital identifyer" that is given to an electronic document to ensure that it can be retrieved even if the URL changes.
The University Library offers the allotment of DOI to AAU staff in connection with research or registration of data sets. However, certain criteria must be met before the DOI can be allotted. Please contact the VBN Team if you have any questions or queries of this nature.
DOI can be allotted to publications or data sets in VBN or OJS only! An established platform is necessary, as the DOI links into VBN or OJS. A DOI cannot be allotted to a publication that already has a DOI.
Please contact the VBN Team if you would like to have a DOI allotted to your document.
